Procare Hospital : Heart Month

Procare Hospital : Heart Month

Heart disease has for a long time been the number 1 killer in women. It is worth noting that it equally affects both males and females; however, the signs and symptoms are not always the same. If you have felt a certain pain in the chest or a persistent form of discomfort or pressure in the chest, this could be a sign or symptom of heart disease. It is worth noting that these symptoms are not always noticed or severe with women. Heart diseases take more lives than other diseases, though heart diseases are the most preventable. So what are you doing to reduce your risk of heart disease today?

February has been lined up as “Heart Month” to encourage a heart-healthy lifestyle. Procare Hospital is inviting you to participate in this free, 28 days open opportunity to learn and thus think about the health of your heart. Registered members will receive weekly E-letters on topics centered on heart health. You can also stay with us on our social media platforms to get regular health updates.

This is all tailored to create awareness among women on the risk of heart diseases. Dr. M. Fache, our Medical Director, will be discussing on women’s heart health on I.G Live. You can be part of the conversation by following us on @procareHospital. If you happen to miss out on any of live sessions, you can subscribe to our podcast to gain access to our archived shows.
